The main highlights are:
paper breaches account for nearly 26% of known breaches (an increase of 46% over 2008)
business sector climbed from 21% to 41% between 2006 to 2009, the worst sector performance by far
malicious attacks have surpassed human error for the first time in three years
Out of 498 breaches, only six reported that they had either encryption or other strong security features protecting the exposed data

Just kidding! It's usually not too difficult to improve your search engine rankings by just following some simple guidelines when designing/maintaining your web site. However, one important thing to keep in mind regarding SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies is that there are no guarantees. As the joke above alludes to... if I could guarantee anyone top results for any keyword in Google/Bing/Yahoo I would be able to retire a very wealthy man in short order. Be very wary of anyone making any guarantees regarding SEO rankings. These types of guarantees are just bait for the sale.

A new decade a new blog... just what the world needed!
One of my resolutions for this year is to be more open in my business. This blog will hopefully serve as an organic collection of my thoughts on subjects of importance to my business goals and my clients needs. It will also house any interesting problems I encounter along the way... hopefully with a nifty keen neat-o type solution as the punch line. I'll try not to vent my frustrations too frequently, but I can't promise that I won't rant a little ever now and then on this journey. So with my intentions made known to all "teh interwebs"... here begins my journey into the blogosphere.
