What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? SEO is the practice or art of tuning or manipulating a website(s) content in such a way that it will appear prominently in the organic search results (i.e. non pay-per-click ads) when a user searches from a particular region and/or using particular keywords. In short, it's about standing out from the crowded list of search results by moving toward the front of the line. SEO, when successfully implemented, helps your site rank higher in search engine results for relevant queries.The SEO needs of each client are different, but there are some basic SEO practices that should be evaluated and/or implemented for each web site.
Phase 1: Initial SEO Consultation
- The first stage of SEO is to make sure we as your consultants thoroughly understand your desired market and help identify those keywords and key phrases your target audience is likely to use when searching for your website and/or individual pages within the site.

- Evaluate and implement specific SEO design (or redesign) guidelines to enhance the websites usability and readability. The goal here is to keep visitors on your website longer and returning more often. Keeping a user at your site longer and keeping them coming back is key to converting their searches into your sales.
- Check and convert your site to fully standards compliant CSS/HTML/XHTML code to increase the performance and visibility of your content. Avoiding search engine unfriendly elements such as Flash animations, splash pages and some types of javascript (i.e AJAX) that render some content invisible to search engines.
- In the final and more advance phases of a SEO campaign we evaluate and implement responsible and effective linking techniques to help emphasize the relevant content within your site as determined by your keyword campaign.
- Consideration should be given to utilizing various social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc) to complement your marketing efforts.
- We can assist you in actively monitoring consumer networking/complaint websites to insure a positive business image is maintained online.
